Literacy at the Library
Dear Parents,
Please join us at the LaVergne Public Library on Friday, November 22, 2019. Kathy Daugherty, Rutherford County Schools’ RTI Specialist, will be sharing strategies with parents to use at home to strengthen and improve achievement in literacy/reading. Parents will receive hands-on materials to use immediately at home with their student. The LaVergne Public Library will also share information about the library and the support and resources that are available to parents and students.

*Spanish and Arabic Translators will be available*

Lectoescritura en la Biblioteca
Estimados Padres,
Por favor únanse a nosotros en la Biblioteca Pública en LaVergne el viernes, 22 de noviembre de 2019. Kathy Daugherty, Especialista en el Programa de la Respuesta a la Intervención (RTI por sus siglas en inglés) en la Escuelas del Condado de Rutherford, estará compartiendo con los padres algunas estrategias que podrán usar en la casa para fortalecer y mejorar el rendimiento en la lectura/lectoescritura de los alumnos. Los padres recibirán materiales prácticos que podrán usar en la casa con sus hijos. La Biblioteca Pública en LaVergne también estará ofreciendo información acerca de la biblioteca y de los recursos de apoyo disponibles para los padres y alumnos.
