Join us for a breakfast training from 9:00-12:00 for parents of middle school students that attend LaVergne and Smyrna Middle Schools. Tara Brown, Teen Life Coach, is an award-winning educator, author and life coach. She will be sharing her expertise and strategies to help parents to be better able to reach, understand, communicate, motivate and work with their middle school student. Tara “gets” teenagers and will touch on the following topics that can impact student achievement and school performance:
- What research says about the adolescent brain
- Impact of social media on students
- Stress and anxiety on the middle school student
- How parents can interact with their middle school student
The meeting will be held at:

(located behind the Smyrna Skate Center and across from the Smyrna golf course)
Breakfast will be provided promptly at 8:30 with the presentation beginning promptly at 9:00
