Welcome Seventh Grade Students and Families!
This is Dr. Dail, and I am your ELA teacher. The 2023-2024 school year will be our best yet! My classroom is a place where all students are welcome! As we prepare for this year, I want to let you know a few things about myself and my classroom.
1) I began teaching in 1989 and 34 years later, I am just excited as the 2023 school year begins!
2) I have the responsibility to teach, and every student has the right to learn; therefore, any words, actions, or attitudes that prevent teaching and learning are strictly prohibited!
3) Every day, I have these goals: keep my students safe, love my students, and educate my students.
Our ELA textbook is AMPLIFY. You can find the online book through CLEVER. We will complete a minimum of four Amplify Units: 7A Red Scarf Girl, 7B Raisin in the Sun, 7C Brain Science, and 7D Poetry and Poe.
